ost conference events take place on the site of the historic Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho.  Breakout sessions and special offerings take place in close-by facilities such as the picturesque Sun Valley Opera House, all within easy walking distance and all surrounded by the magnificent Sawtooth  Mountains.

Getting to Sun Valley

Delta Airlines will bring you to Salt Lake City, Utah. From Salt Lake City, Delta Airlines (operated by Skywest Airlines) flies nonstop to Sun Valley or Twin Falls, Idaho. If you fly into Sun Valley, you will actually arrive 13 miles south of Sun Valley at the Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey. Taxis and shuttle buses are available (see below.) If you fly into Twin Falls, it is best to rent a car and drive to Sun Valley.

Please note, the Skywest flights from Salt Lake City to Sun Valley are on 30-passenger, turboprop aircraft. Flight time is a little over 1 hour. Due to summertime temperatures, airline luggage is occasionally delayed. Please take medicines, cosmetics, and a change of clothing in your carry-on.

Alaska Airlines (operated by Horizon Air) flies nonstop from Los Angeles and Oakland, California or Seattle, Washington to Sun Valley. (This is a seasonal operation and subject to change.)

United Airlines has flights into Boise. From there it is best to rent a car and drive to Sun Valley.

We recommend checking with your travel agent or the airlines for updates on routes and schedules.

Driving times from the above airports are as follows:

Twin Falls..............1 ˝ hours 
Boise.................... 3 hours 
Salt Lake City...... 5 hours

To get from the Airport to Ketchum and the Conference Site near the Sun Valley Lodge:
 

  • Follow Airport Way to Highway 75. Turn left.
     

  • Take Highway 75 approximately 12 miles to Sun Valley Road in Ketchum. Turn right at the signal.
     

  • Follow Sun Valley Road approximately 1 mile to the Sun Valley Resort, where there is parking.
     

  • The conference takes place within tented and pavilion space on the site of the Sun Valley Resort.

 

 

If you need bus service while in Ketchum/Sun Valley:

The Mountain Rides shuttle bus offers two free buses per hour at clearly marked stops throughout Ketchum and Sun Valley, stopping near the conference site.
